Quality inspection of metal welding process

It makes use of acoustic emission system to conduct realtime monitoring for manual welding process and analyzes the characteristics of acoustic emission signals that werecollected in the different periods of the welding process to look for the characteristics of acoustic emission signal when cracks occur and finalliy determine the feasibility of the acoustic emission monitoring manual welding process .

In view of the welding arc sound signal in the welded contain abundant information, is an important source of welding quality monitoring signals, and pipeline structure characteristics of acoustic emission signal in the pipe arc low noise transmission. Design the acoustic emission pipeline arc, the hardware system is mainly composed of sensors,signal adapter circuit, data acquisition card and integration of workstation. Using graphical programming language LabVIEW virtual instrument, by encapsulating the functional module and call dynamic link hardware driver program, design a set of using interrupt trigger arc acoustic emission of highspeed data collection of the software system. Results show that the system can not only realize the arc voltage, welding current and arc acoustic emission signals of highspeed realtime synchronous acquisition, and collecting the results can be graphically, well solved the problem of realtime graphics rendering difficult, for the further study of mechanism of acoustic emission pipeline TIG welding arc.
